Join us for an exclusive full-day site tour to two pioneering energy facilities shaping Australia's energy future.


Departing by coach from Hornsby Station, this full-day tour includes a behind-the-scenes visit to the MGA Thermal facility in Tomago, followed by Origin Energy's Allegro Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Demonstration Plant at Eraring.


Hear directly from project leaders and explore the innovative technologies advancing long-duration energy storage and supporting the transition to a low-emissions energy system.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included, with opportunities to network with fellow members and industry leaders throughout the day.


Itinerary:

8:15am - Meet at Hornsby Station (coach pick-up area)

8:30am - Depart Hornsby by coach

9:30am * morning tea on the coach

10:00 - 10:30am - Arrive at MGA Thermal, Tomago

10:30am - 12:00pm - Site presentation and facility tour

12:00 -12:45pm - Lunch

12:45pm - Depart Tomago

1:45pm - Arrive at Origin Energy - Allegro Battery Project, Eraring

1:45 - 2:45pm - Site tour

2:45 - 3:10pm - Afternoon tea (location TBC)

3:15pm - Depart Eraring

4:45 - 5:00pm - Arrive back at Hornsby Station
