SITE TOURS | 19-22 OCTOBER: New Zealand Renewable Heat Roadshow

The New Zealand Renewable Heat Roadshow brings industry together to explore practical renewable heat solutions for the meat processing and dairy sectors. Through a series of site tours and knowledge-sharing sessions, participants will gain firsthand insight into successful projects across a range of technologies, including biomass boilers, electric boilers (eboilers), heat pumps, heat recovery systems, and biogas. The roadshow is designed to showcase real-world applications, share lessons learned, and support the transition to lower-emissions process heat across New Zealand industry.

The tour will be hosted by Jarrod Leak, A2EP CEO and Jonathon Pooch, DETA Global Managing Director.

This tour will only proceed if we reach minimum numbers of registrations by 31 August.

Tour dates

The itinerary is currently being finalised, with transport between all sites provided via coach.

Monday 19 October: Arrive at Novotel Christchurch Airport, 6pm group dinner at Novotel Christchurch Airport restaurant ‘Food Exchange’

Tuesday 20 October: 8am-4pm Site tours include Christchurch Hospital and Burwood Hospital, with more to be announced

Wednesday 21 October: 8am-4pm Site tours include Synlait, ANZCO, and more to be announced

Thursday 22 October: 8am-12pm - Site tours to be announced, returning to hotel and airport for departure

Ticket prices:

A2EP member: $1,300 (AUD) + GST

NON-A2EP member: $2,200 (AUD) + GST

Please note, ticket price does not include flights or accommodation.

Accommodation will be based at the Novotel Christchurch Airport, with discounted room rates available for attendees using the booking details provided in your registration email. Hotel rates: $299.00 (NZD) room only per room per night, single occupancy, breakfast included. Please advise A2EP if you do not wish to stay here.
