We are pleased to share the latest video case study from our Meet the Heatmakers campaign which is ramping up online over winter. We were grateful to Selva Thiru, Senior Manager of Engineering, Operations and Sustainability for 101 Collins Street, for showing us around and sharing his experience of implementing heat pump solutions to eliminate gas use.

101 Collins Street is a premium fifty-storey commercial office building in Melbourne’s central business district which is fully occupied with tier-one tenants.

This project involved the replacement of existing gas-fired heating hot water (HHW) and domestic hot water hot water (DHW) plants with new, high-efficiency electric heat pump systems to deliver more sustainable and future-ready heating solutions.

This electrification project was designed and managed by A.G. Coombs with heat pump solutions provided by Trane Australia and Commercial Hot Water and Maintenance.

Further to the above video case study, you can read the written case study on the FutureHeat website.
