A2EP's year in review: big results with an even bigger year to come

We've had our biggest year ever in 2025 at A2EP. Our team has continued to grow so we can support more decarbonisation across industrial and commercial sectors and more value to our 90+ Members.
Here is a summary of most of the things we rolled out for you in 2025:
Supporting the rollout of a number of industry programs with high levels of participation by A2EP Member organisations:
Round 2 of the $100m national Community Energy Upgrade Fund
34 electrification studies funded under the Victorian Government's Large Energy User Electrification Support Program
Round 3 of the Victorian Energy Innovation Fund targeting food and beverage manufacturers
The NSW Government's Heat Pump Feasibility Study program
The NSW Government's range of grants to support the planning and implementation of energy metering and monitoring.
A new Chair with Bianca Sylvestor taking over from Kylie Hargreaves who led our Board for five years.
The addition of three new team Members:

Lina Botero, Communications Assistant
Bronwyn See, Program Manager - Bioenergy
Launch of our updated Heat Pump Estimator online tool
Launch of our Heat Battery Estimator tool
13 webinars with a total of 3234 registrants
8 Industry Roundtable meetings for our three Industry Roundtables on Flexible Demand, Bioenergy and Electrification.
7 in-person Member Update Meetings and Networking Drinks in Melbourne, Sydney and our first in Brisbane.
The launch of our Decarbonising Commercial Buildings program led by Peter Haenke
Two site tours to launch our Commercial Buildings program.
Our second Australian Renewable Heat Conference in Sydney which saw attendance increase 45% on the previous year to 290 people.
Countless connections facilitated between our Members and across industry to support the improvement of energy productivity and decarbonisation of our industrial and commercial sectors.
Working with the A2EP Board to develop a new five-year strategy for implementation in 2026. Stay tuned!
